Tall, elegant and it looks like he is going to be dark bay like his full brother Solar.  This sweet baby was born in the bright sunshiny afternoon a full month late.  No wonder his legs are so long!!!

His personality is developing just like his sires.  Very friendly, bold and out going.  He is afraid of nothing, even this big river we introduced him to during his very first trip out on the trails.  He jumped right in the water, splashed and even laid down and rolled in it.  What a treasure he is.
congratulations to Dorothy Anderson on her purchase of this extraordinary colt.  You can see her web site at

For a delightful update Sept 27th,  2010

..saw Adonis 2 days ago (Saturday) had not seen him for 3 months. Ruth Perez told me I would be surprised at his growth, maturity...  Hmm I thought as we walked to the barn. She opened the stall, her husband, Joey took Adonis out in his halter and he looks wonderful.
I want you to know he is with wonderful people; a small farm that is devoted to training Spanish colts/stallions; The Art of Riding in Silver Springs, FL, is making progress, was immaculate, and they love him, as do I. Thank You so much for the opportunity to purchase him.
Joey and Ruth have no children, the PRE's are their children; Ruth traveled to Spain 2 years ago, rode dressage there as she is a dressage trainer/rider. Her black PRE is beautiful, big-boned and she is doing very well with him.
Joey said to me as he took Adonis out of his stall, "I do not know who this breeder is, but if it's not broken, don't fix it." Thought you would like to hear his unsolicited remarks to me; quite a compliment that he thinks highly of your breeding. Positive feedback is important and we do not hear enough of it, in my opinion.
Joey mentioned other compliments about Adonis; he has maturity for such a young colt, etc.etc etc. They only take a few horses to train.  One just left to a new dressage home; he was with them 7 years in training.
